Steve McManaman - Liverpool 1996/98 home shirt L 🏴
This Liverpool shirt from 96–98 harks back to a period when Steve McManaman was the team's creative engine and one of the Premier League's most entertaining players. With his fluid dribbling, elegant runs with the ball and ability to open up games all by himself, he was crucial to how Liverpool created chances during those years.
McManaman was in his prime: assists galore, important goals and a constant unease in opposition defences. Along with the young core around Fowler, Redknapp and a budding Carragher, he was a key figure in keeping Liverpool competitive in the league and in Europe.
A shirt that oozes both 90s nostalgia and Macca in full flow mode – elegant, unpretentious and always dangerous.
