Lionel Messi - FC Barcelona 2015/16 home shirt L 🇦🇷
In the 2015/16 season, Lionel Messi played another pivotal role for FC Barcelona as they continued to dominate Spanish and European football. Messi formed an impressive attacking trio alongside Neymar and Luis Suárez – known as “MSN” – that terrified defenders across Europe with their goals and teamwork.
Barcelona won La Liga this season, with Messi scoring 26 goals and providing 16 assists in the league. The team also secured the Copa del Rey title, giving them a Spanish double. However, they failed to repeat their success in the Champions League from the previous season, as they were knocked out by Atlético Madrid in the quarter-finals.
Messi continued to cement his status as one of the world's best players, impressing with his technical skills, goals and vision. His performances this season have once again underlined his importance for Barcelona and cemented his position as one of the greatest in football history.
