Brian Laudrup - Ajax 1999/00 home shirt M 🇩🇰
This 1999/00 home shirt from Ajax marks an exciting period in Brian Laudrup's career, where the elegant Dane spent his last days as an active player in one of Europe's most traditional clubs.
Although his stay in Amsterdam was short, Laudrup still showed glimpses of his renowned technique, intelligence and ability to create chances for his teammates – qualities that had made him a world star throughout the 1990s with success at clubs such as Rangers, Fiorentina and Chelsea.
Ajax, known for its offensive philosophy and talent development, was at this time a young team in the process of rebuilding, and Laudrup's experience and class were an important addition to the squad.
The shirt, produced by Umbro, features the classic Ajax design with the iconic red stripe down the middle – a symbol of the club's proud traditions. A unique and rare shirt from the final phase of the career of one of Denmark's greatest players.
